The Spit

Northern most section of the famous Gold Coast stretch of beach. It extends into the seaway and is the gateway between the Gold Coast Broadwater and the open ocean.

If prawns, lobster mornay, shucked oysters, served natural, or even Kilpatrick are more to your liking, or if morton bay bugs, calamari or marinated prawn skewers take your fancy, then this is the best place on the Gold Coast for seafood.

Fairy Tree of Brisbane

Dotted around Brisbane’s inner-city neighbourhoods, you’ll find pockets of enchanting fairy-lit fig trees to add a touch of magic to any snap.

City Hall Clock Tower

It’s a classic, it’s free and it only takes 10 minutes. Ride the original elevator past the giant clock faces to the top of the tower. Due to COVID-19, pre-arrival booking is required.

Fortitude Valley (China Town)

Australia’s first dedicated entertainment precinct and it continues to thrive. Hide in a small cozy bar with a gin cocktail, tap your toes to live music or dance all night until your feet hurt and a 3am slice beckons. It is more active during the night.
